Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Complex Care Assistant to join our team at Advantage Healthcare Limited. As a Complex Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with complex needs, including spinal cord injuries, muscular dystrophy, and acquired brain injuries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support to individuals with complex needs, including tracheotomy, ventilation, and seizure management.
- Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Monitor and report any changes in the individual's condition to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Requirements:
- Experience in caring for individuals with complex needs, including tracheostomy, peg feeding, and suctioning.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
