About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Group Apprenticeship team as an Administrator. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the team, ensuring the smooth delivery of our National Apprenticeship Programmes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the Group Apprenticeship team, including maintaining spreadsheets, trackers, and reports.
  • Communication: Act as a first point of contact for apprentice administration-related queries, responding to emails and phone calls in a timely and professional manner.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including training providers, colleges, and schools.
  • Event Coordination: Coordinate and arrange attendance at careers events, both within schools and colleges and larger national events.
  • Risk Management: Ensure risk assessments are completed for work experience and that Right to Work documents are uploaded onto Dayforce.
  • Contract Management: Ensure contracts are being returned and processed in a timely manner.
  • Uniform Orders: Process uniform orders for apprentices.
  • Enrolment Coordination: Liaise with colleges for enrolment dates and keep all parties up to date.
  • Support to Team Members: Provide support to Apprenticeship Co-ordinators and the Group Apprenticeship Manager as required.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to processes to enhance the delivery of our National Apprenticeship Programmes.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in a recruitment or apprenticeship administration role.
  • Knowledge: Intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge and ability to use other Microsoft Office programmes, including Teams, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Skills: Ability to engage with colleagues, communicate effectively, and build relationships.
  • Personal Qualities: Positive, can-do attitude, self-motivated, and able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a wider team.
  • Commercial Awareness: Strong attention to detail and ability to identify issues quickly and provide solutions in a timely manner.
  • Safeguarding: Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding issues and ability to address them appropriately.
Desirable
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of Apprenticeships and Government-funded training programmes.
  • Experience: Experience with recruitment marketing campaigns on social media platforms.
