We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer - Site Operations to join our team at Contract Scotland. As a key member of our site operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Implementing strategies as discussed with management to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Experienced working with RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statement) to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Checking design plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy of calculations to ensure project deliverables meet client expectations.
- Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Developing method statements and risk assessments to mitigate potential hazards and ensure project success.
- Keeping accurate records, including a diary, of all site activities to facilitate project tracking and reporting.
- Supporting the team and performing other site engineering duties as required to ensure project completion.
- A Civil Engineering related degree from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Site Engineer in civil engineering projects, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Experience working on concrete repairs is highly desirable.
- Appropriate knowledge of health and safety policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication and liaison skills to effectively collaborate with project stakeholders.
- Valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) certification.
- A full UK driving license to facilitate travel to project sites.
- Flexibility to work on a variety of projects and adapt to changing project requirements.
