Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our Estates External Environment Team as a Landscape and Grounds Maintenance Technician. This role is crucial in maintaining the aesthetic and functional quality of our outdoor spaces.
Work Schedule
The position entails a full-time commitment from Monday to Friday, with responsibilities that include participating in a seasonal on-call rotation for winter maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Contribute to the daily upkeep of grounds and gardens, ensuring cleanliness and safety across various outdoor areas.
- Manage the care of lawns, flower beds, trees, and shrubs, while also maintaining pathways and external surfaces.
- Operate a variety of machinery and vehicles, including tractors and mowers, to perform landscaping tasks effectively.
Essential Qualifications
Applicants must possess:
- NVQ Level 2 in Horticulture or an equivalent qualification.
- A valid driver's license to operate trust vehicles.

As part of an 8-member team, you will work collaboratively to uphold high standards of maintenance in accordance with relevant regulations and best practices.
