About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Internal Audit to lead our Internal Audit Function for the DAS Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining an audit plan to examine and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of our processes and controls.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing an audit plan to ensure the effectiveness of our internal controls and risk management processes.
- Conducting audits and reviews to identify areas for improvement and providing recommendations for enhancements.
- Providing assurance to the Board Audit Committee on the effectiveness of our internal controls and risk management processes.
- Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management and external auditors.
- Staying up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry best practices to ensure our internal audit function remains compliant and effective.
About You
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in internal audit and risk management. Key qualifications and skills include:
- Professional certification in internal audit (CIA, CMIIA) or other relevant certifications.
- Experience in leading internal audit functions and managing teams of auditors.
- Strong knowledge of risk management and internal controls frameworks and approaches.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior management and external stakeholders.
