Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Consultant to join our team at Independent Appointments. As a leading national claims preparation consultancy, we are looking for an individual with a strong background in commercial property losses to operate throughout Scotland.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Handle a wide variety of challenging commercial property losses across the full range of risks, including business interruption.
  2. Represent a wide range of commercial businesses, from SMEs to PLCs, and deal with claims from below £50,000 to in excess of £1 million.
  3. Utilize expertise in Business Interruption and major loss work in excess of £100,000 to provide exceptional service to clients.
  4. Travel throughout Scotland as needed to meet with clients and conduct site visits.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an individual who is looking to utilize their extensive loss adjusting skills in a new and challenging role. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary, bonus, car allowance, pension, private medical care, and 25 days holiday.

Requirements:

  1. A/FCILA qualification.
  2. Strong background in commercial property losses.
  3. Experience of major loss work in excess of £100,000 (preferred).
  4. Expertise within Business Interruption (important).
  5. Willingness to travel throughout Scotland as needed.
