About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team at First Rate Exchange Services. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to define and enhance products and propositions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Support internal and external partner teams in engaging with clients, from presales to project delivery and post-go-live product support.
  • Contribute to the delivery of complex projects, providing direction and guidance to delivery teams.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and business analysts to analyze system impacts of business change and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Ensure new solutions meet requirements and integrate with existing systems and processes.
  • Develop and deliver workshops for business owners and technical teams, facilitating the examination of proposed requirements and their impact.
  • Identify, gather, and document functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Apply technical expertise to recommend design solutions for new systems.
  • Verify that final deliverables meet stated business and technical requirements, are delivered within agreed deadlines and budgets.
  • Work with Scrum teams to provide business and technical requirement documents and specifications for test script and scenario creation.
  • Collaborate with suppliers during analysis and design phases to ensure solutions meet requirements and are fit for purpose.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience in business and systems analysis.
  • Business process and data modeling skills, including the ability to create conceptual and logical data models.
  • A proven track record of translating business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Expert understanding and practical experience of Unified Modelling Language (UML).
  • A good understanding and ideally experience of Agile and service-oriented architecture concepts.
  • Experience in full systems lifecycle, from analysis through to design to build and implementation.
  • Experience in an Agile and Waterfall project delivery environment.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Degree-level qualification, preferably in an IT-related discipline or equivalent combination of specialized training.
  • Relevant Systems analysis qualification.
  • Technical experience of integration technologies such as BizTalk, Azure Logic Apps, Microsoft Power Apps, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance.
