Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute social media and SEO strategies to increase online engagement and reach.
- Collaborate with our social media producer to create and manage content across multiple platforms, including Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and others.
- Represent Hyphen online, engaging with our community and responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
- Analyze data on reach and engagement to inform our content strategy and help journalists identify opportunities to increase our online presence.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in social media, SEO, and content marketing.
- Manage relationships with platform and third-party contacts, sharing knowledge and expertise with the wider organisation.
- At least three years' experience in social media marketing and/or SEO.
- A background in journalism is desirable.
- Excellent communication and writing skills, with a talent for producing engaging content for social media.
- A deep understanding of search protocols and dynamics, social media, internet culture, and audience distribution strategies.
- A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for working with a dynamic team.
