Senior Social Media Producer

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Content Creator to join our team at Absolute Radio. As a Senior Social Media Producer, you will be responsible for planning and creating digital content for one of the UK's biggest radio networks. This exciting opportunity will involve collaborating with our presenters and guests to create engaging content that resonates with our audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Dave Berry Breakfast Show team to generate creative social media ideas and content that reflects the show's tone and style.
- Develop and produce engaging social media content, including social videos, graphics, photos, and written posts, tailored to Absolute Radio's audience.
- Monitor and analyse social media trends, audience behaviours, and platform updates to keep Absolute Radio's social media presence current and effective.
- Engage with Absolute Radio's audience across all social media platforms, responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner, in the Absolute Radio tone of voice.
- Manage Absolute Radio's social media content calendars, ensuring timely and consistent posting.
Requirements:
- An experienced social media professional with an excellent understanding of the digital landscape, particularly the creation of engaging, optimised content for various platforms, with a strong focus on Instagram and TikTok.
- Comfortable shooting and filming content on mobile, as well as confident in directing and briefing presenters, guests, and other team members where necessary.
- Proactive, collaborative and organised, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent knowledge of all social media platforms and experience in planning and scheduling content across them.
- Highly proficient in using Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and apps like CapCut.
