Job Details

Network Open is seeking a skilled Optical Assistant to join their team in Reading, Berkshire. As an Optical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the optometrist and carrying out dispensing visits to patients in care homes and their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the optometrist in dispensing visits to patients in care homes and their own homes.
  • Carry out dispensing visits independently, ensuring high-quality patient care.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a sympathetic approach when interacting with patients.
  • Work within a 50-mile radius from your home postcode, using your own vehicle.
  • Hold a full driving license for at least 2 years.
