Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a market-leading manufacturing company in Dunstable. As a key member of our Maintenance Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on production equipment, including conveyors, packaging lines, and other machinery.
  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Manager and shift lead to develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
  • Work effectively in a team environment to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Experience in an FMCG environment, preferably with a mechanical or electrical bias.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work a continental shift pattern, including days and nights.
