Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant - Blood Donation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our donors, ensuring a positive and safe experience for all.

Main Responsibilities

  • Participate in comprehensive training to develop skills in phlebotomy and donor care.
  • Provide personalized support and care to donors throughout their donation journey, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of donor information and donation details.
  • Build strong relationships with donors to encourage repeat donations and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Ensure the safe handling and management of blood products, equipment, and supplies.

Requirements

  • Experience in dealing with the public and delivering high-quality customer service.
  • Ability to learn new technology skills and undergo digital training.
  • Good standard of numeracy and literacy.
  • Willingness to undertake development and training to upskill, including completion of the Skills for Health Care Certificate.
  • Valid full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
