Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant - Blood Donation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our donors, ensuring a positive and safe experience for all.
Main Responsibilities
- Participate in comprehensive training to develop skills in phlebotomy and donor care.
- Provide personalized support and care to donors throughout their donation journey, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of donor information and donation details.
- Build strong relationships with donors to encourage repeat donations and provide exceptional customer service.
- Ensure the safe handling and management of blood products, equipment, and supplies.
Requirements
- Experience in dealing with the public and delivering high-quality customer service.
- Ability to learn new technology skills and undergo digital training.
- Good standard of numeracy and literacy.
- Willingness to undertake development and training to upskill, including completion of the Skills for Health Care Certificate.
- Valid full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
