Imperial College London: Academic Appointment in Earth Science and Engineering

We are seeking an exceptional academic to join our team at Imperial College London, a world-leading institution in the field of Earth Science and Engineering. The successful candidate will have a strong background in an appropriate field and a proven track record of research publications.

The role will involve teaching on our undergraduate and postgraduate courses, conducting original research, and contributing to the development and performance of colleagues. We are particularly interested in candidates who can bring a multidisciplinary approach to their work and have experience of working in a collaborative environment.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, including those related to climate and environment, energy and resources, and artificial intelligence. They will also have access to a range of facilities and resources, including geochemical facilities, computing infrastructure, and technical support.

Requirements:

  • PhD or equivalent in an appropriate field
  • Proven track record of research publications

  • Experience of training undergraduate and postgraduate students
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to build and sustain effective working relationships
