Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting of all areas of the factory
  • Perform deep cleaning of large machinery and equipment, wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
  • Work in various environments, including chilled and hot areas, to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • Complete paperwork to document cleaning activities and maintain accurate records
  • Promote a culture of good health and safety practices within the workplace
  • Use and store chemicals safely and in accordance with company procedures
  • Report any damaged equipment or machinery to the facilities team

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of English, both verbal and written
  • Previous experience in a cleaning or facilities role is an advantage, but not necessary
  • Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
  • Basic knowledge of COSHH and HACCP procedures is highly advantageous
