Job Title: Band 6 Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic and specialized team at Atlantis Medical Ltd in London. This role offers the opportunity to work with acute neurological and neurosurgical patients who require complex rehabilitation interventions, including those in the Neuro Trauma unit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a complex caseload of acute neurological and neurosurgical patients.
  • Provide comprehensive assessments and deliver individualized rehabilitation programs for patients with neuro trauma and other neurological conditions.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, including physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, and medical professionals, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Facilitate and support patient recovery through the application of specialized occupational therapy interventions.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adapt treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers regarding rehabilitation goals and long-term management strategies.
Requirements:
  • HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Minimum 2 years of post-registration experience, with significant experience in neurological and neurosurgical rehabilitation.
  • Experience managing a complex caseload, particularly in an acute setting.
  • Expertise in neuro trauma rehabilitation is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience working within the NHS or similar healthcare settings.
