Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Laboratory Manager to join our Chemistry Team at the Ineos Oxford Institute for Antimicrobial Research. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day laboratory coordination, ensuring effective delivery of research while maintaining effective laboratory space and assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the laboratory coordination for the Chemistry Team, ensuring effective delivery of research
  • Ensure effective laboratory space and assets, including equipment, biological safety/ethics, and supply of reagents
  • Perform hands-on work, including effecting minor repairs
  • Support interdisciplinary cutting-edge science by working with researchers from diverse backgrounds and career stages
  • Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration to achieve research and project delivery excellence
Requirements
  • Experimental knowledge of biological techniques
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Desire to support interdisciplinary cutting-edge science
