UKCIL is seeking a skilled Care Assistant to join our team in providing care and support to an individual with complex needs. The ideal candidate will have experience in administering medication, using hoists and slings, and providing care for individuals with epilepsy and communication difficulties.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to an individual with complex needs, including assistance with daily living activities and medication administration.
- Use hoists and slings to transfer the individual safely and comfortably.
- Administer medication and provide care for individuals with epilepsy and communication difficulties.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to provide a high-quality care service.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Experience in providing care and support to individuals with complex needs.
- Ability to administer medication and use hoists and slings safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of epilepsy and communication difficulties.
- Current full driving license and access to a personal vehicle.
Working Hours
The successful candidate will be required to work a flexible schedule, including waking nights and some weekends. The working hours will be discussed in more detail during the interview process.
