Join Finatal's Data Team as a Data Management Governance and Quality Lead

Finatal is a fast-growing financial services business in the UK, with a strong presence in London and multiple offices across the country. We're expanding rapidly through a buy-and-build strategy and are now looking for a Data Management Governance and Quality Lead to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consolidate data from multiple sources, including IT and ERP/CRM systems, to create a single source of truth for analytical insights and data-driven decision making.
  • Develop and implement ETL/ELT pipelines using Fivetran, DBT, and Snowflake to store data ready for analysis.
  • Manage a Data Analyst and train them on building meaningful dashboards and reports on Power BI.
  • Collaborate with the IT Director to develop a commercial data strategy and assist with the overall strategy.
  • Present insights and recommendations to key stakeholders, including the C-suite, using data visualization skills and experience with Power BI.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional experience working with DBT, SQL, and Snowflake.
  • Track record of data engineering in a greenfield environment, building infrastructure from scratch.
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Data Engineering, Computer Science, or a STEM subject.
