Responsibilities include gathering requirements, engaging with Portfolio Management, Underwriters, and analysts, as well as producing high-quality analytical reports. Additionally, this role aims to evolve the service by providing deeper insights and identifying trends that add value to end users. This involves actively sourcing relevant data and exploring advanced methodologies, including machine learning, to support both LSM and Portfolio Management effectively.
The responsibilities encompass the entire Portfolio Management team, including both Specialty and Commercial sectors, in partnership with the UW Analytics Lead. As such, this role will require managing relationships and ensuring the efficient delivery of analytical work across various Portfolio Analysts. This ensures that their MI and analytical requirements are met, establishing a trusted advisory role while remaining responsive to incoming requests. The role will enhance the MI service by delivering additional insights and trends, actively seeking new data sources to optimally support LSM underwriters.
Time allocation will involve developing reports using PowerBI and Alteryx, supported by SQL SSMS skills and some Excel proficiency. Onboarding new Salesforce data and integrating other data streams will also be part of the responsibilities. The remaining time will be dedicated to supporting projects and business initiatives, refining data and analysis, handling ad-hoc tasks, and collaborating with the business to ensure the most effective approach to data and reporting.

We encourage collaborative and open teamwork, creating a platform for us to collectively deliver essential services that enhance Liberty's effectiveness and decision-making processes.
In this role, the MI department will serve as the foundational network supporting the Portfolio MI Analyst in advancing our service with Portfolio Management. This team supports several key UW departments, each with unique skills, capabilities, and requirements. The Portfolio Management team consists of highly engaged stakeholders who require regular and significant assistance with our data and reporting services. The MI function and Portfolio Management have successfully collaborated to complement each other, providing Underwriters and Senior Executive members with the necessary information and analytical insights.
Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as the primary contact for the MI Department in this area, providing relevant business insights.
- Gather and comprehend requirements for new PowerBI reports and deliver them accordingly.
- Handle complex ad-hoc requests efficiently.

- Promote data utilization and elevate the profile of MI within LSM.

- Manage stakeholders across multiple global offices, ensuring effective communication.
- Perform any other duties as reasonably requested.
- Adhere to all relevant regulatory requirements, demonstrating behaviors aligned with the Conduct Risk Policy, which is core to LSM's commitment to our Liberty Values, placing customers at the center of our business and acting with integrity.
Skills and Experience:
