Position Overview

The Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as an Engineering Apprenticeship Assessor. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional apprenticeship programs and fostering relationships with local businesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver High-Quality Apprenticeships: Conduct workplace assessments and provide essential knowledge delivery, with a focus on electrical engineering at levels 3-5.
  • Employer Engagement: Actively participate in the recruitment of new apprentices by liaising with local businesses, managing key accounts, and engaging with educational institutions.
  • Assessment and Planning: Complete all necessary documentation, including Initial Assessments and Individual Learning Plans, to ensure a structured learning experience for apprentices.
  • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong partnerships with local employers, ensuring their needs are met and apprenticeship standards are upheld.
Qualifications and Experience
  • A relevant Engineering qualification is required.
  • Experience in assessing engineering standards or frameworks is highly desirable but not mandatory.
  • Relevant industrial experience within the Engineering sector is essential.
