About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transport & Plant Administrator to join our team at Grafton Group plc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our transport and plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answering telephone calls and responding to queries in a professional and courteous manner
  • Liaising with branches and suppliers to ensure efficient communication and resolution of issues
  • Processing insurance claims and maintaining accurate records
  • Maintaining licence checking and vehicle training records
  • Managing vehicle file management and raising purchase order numbers for invoicing

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as an Administrator or in a similar role
  • Administrative Assistant or similar experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Excellent data entry skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with phone etiquette and professional communication
