Job Title: Manufacturing Manager

Executive Edge is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations in a mid-sized food production facility. The successful candidate will ensure efficient production processes, maintain quality standards, optimize resource use, and ensure compliance with safety and hygiene regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, schedule, and execute production runs to meet demand and supply targets.
  • Ensure efficient allocation of manpower, equipment, and resources to meet production goals.
  • Oversee daily production activities, coordinating with supervisors to resolve any operational issues.
  • Monitor production line efficiency and output, troubleshooting any bottlenecks or technical issues.
  • Work closely with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to ensure all products meet food safety and quality standards.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop production supervisors and line operators.
  • Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and training of production staff.
  • Ensure that all safety protocols are followed by production staff, minimizing workplace hazards.
  • Conduct safety drills, provide training, and maintain up-to-date safety records.
  • Assist in coordinating with the supply chain and procurement teams to ensure the availability of raw materials and packaging supplies.
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure timely ordering to avoid production downtime.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field.
  • Equivalent work experience may be considered.
  • 3+ years of experience in a food manufacturing environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Familiarity with food production processes, quality standards, and industry regulations (HACCP, GMP, FDA, etc.).
  • Experience with production planning, process optimization, and workforce management.
  • Proficiency in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles is a plus.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing production demands.
