About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Trainer to join our team at Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service. As a Digital Trainer, you will play a key role in enhancing our team's digital capabilities, driving digital transformation, and improving business effectiveness and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver high-quality, accessible training programs for end users across the Service, leveraging digital tools and technologies such as Microsoft 365.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive training skills gap analysis, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted training solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand departmental needs and tailor training programs accordingly.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessment and feedback mechanisms, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and training trends, adapting training programs to meet evolving data landscapes.
Requirements
  • Proven ability to develop and apply engaging training methods, incorporating hands-on activities and interactive elements.
  • Experience with e-learning platforms and authoring tools for designing and developing interactive training content, including multimedia elements.
  • Strong drive to stay updated on emerging technologies and training trends, with a keen interest in digital technologies and training development.
  • Ability to work effectively with stakeholders at various levels, understanding departmental needs and tailoring training programs accordingly.
