Make a Difference in Secure Environments

Practice Plus Group is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our Medicines Management team in a secure environment. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing an integrated, safe, legal, and high-quality prison pharmaceutical service.

Main Responsibilities

You will assist with the provision and delivery of our prison pharmaceutical service, taking into consideration the need to maintain a high level of security. You will work within the healthcare department and hold direct patient contact, which will be part of a comprehensive healthcare package based on the prison's needs.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have NVQ Level 3, BTEC, or equivalent qualifications and current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC). You will also have relevant post-qualification experience working within a pharmacy environment and a multi-disciplinary team.

We offer a competitive annual salary up to £30,660, depending on experience. You will also receive a company pension scheme, 25 days annual leave increasing with service up to 28 days per year, plus public bank holidays.
