Your Role:
As a Maintrol Technical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of our fleet. Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing and coordinating teams engaged in aircraft recovery, prioritizing their safety and well-being.
- Managing the recovery of AOG (Aircraft on Ground) aircraft globally, ensuring a swift and safe return to service.
- Enhancing aircraft and engineering performance through proactive monitoring and analysis.
- Addressing safety reports and recurring defects to improve overall reliability.
- Providing specialized technical support on-site, adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
- Gathering and supplying necessary approved data for safe maintenance and modifications.
- Following established technical procedures to meet performance targets while fostering continuous improvement.
- Supporting business initiatives aligned with our strategic goals.
- Facilitating technical discussions across departments to optimize decision-making.
- Coordinating activities at line stations to minimize technical delays and enhance recovery efforts.
- Conducting analyses to improve aircraft performance and reliability.
Your Qualifications:
- Strong project management and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Effective communication skills in high-pressure situations.
- Proficient in report writing and business planning.
- Analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated with a strong capacity for managing change.
- In-depth knowledge of operational dynamics.
- Experience in supplier management.
- Comprehensive understanding of aircraft systems and components.
Your Experience:
- Possession of CAA/EASA approvals or equivalent.
- Relevant qualifications in Aerospace Engineering (HNC/HND or equivalent).
- Completion of a recognized Aircraft Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
- Holding a B1/B2 Licence without Type rating.
- Ability to hold and exercise EASA Part 145 Technical Engineer/Part 21 CCE or CVE approvals as necessary.
