About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at InFocus Charity as a Community Gardener. You will be responsible for leading and growing a team of volunteers to maintain and develop a diverse site that includes polytunnels, kitchen garden, wild meadow, small forest, and sensory gardens.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of volunteers to maintain and develop the site
  • Plan and deliver activities for visiting groups from specialist colleges and schools
  • Support regular volunteers and visiting groups to transform parts of the site
  • Maintain and develop the site's infrastructure, including polytunnels, kitchen garden, wild meadow, small forest, and sensory gardens
  • Plan the growing season for our fledgling plant/produce business
Working Pattern

37 hours per week, typically working 5 days per week. There may be opportunities for seasonal variation, and some requirement for weekend working as part of this pattern.
