About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our housekeeping team at North Somerset Community Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate non-clinical ward services, including catering, cleaning, equipment, and supplies
  • Contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive housekeeping service, supporting the overall hospital objectives
  • Undertake routine cleaning activities and hostess duties, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness in all clinical, office, and public areas
  • Re-evaluate priorities on a day-to-day basis to ensure a continuous high standard of cleanness
Requirements
  • Secondary Education
  • Domestic experience preferable within a hospital setting
  • Knowledge of control of infection
  • Experience in manual handling or be willing to train
  • Experience in working in a team
