Main Responsibilities- Act as a clinical expert providing specialist knowledge and advice to nurses and junior medical staff.
- Work towards safe and timely discharge plans, identifying and addressing barriers to discharge.
- Support the nursing team, promoting best clinical and professional practice.
- Lead by example, demonstrating excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Participate in recruitment, staff development reviews, and facilitate orientation and training programs.
- Represent the ward at local and wider meetings.
- Contribute to systematic monitoring of performance and evaluation of nursing practice.

Person SpecificationWe are seeking a candidate with:
- Registered Nurse Level 1
- Current NMC Registration
- Evidence of formal ongoing professional development
- Relevant post-registration qualification at level 3 (desirable)
- Qualification in Teaching, Assessing, and Mentoring (desirable)
- Willingness to work towards Masters-level academic study (desirable)
