Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Manager to join our client, a market leader in the manufacture of high-performance polyurethane elastomer components. As a key member of the R&D team, you will be responsible for driving the development of company products, providing technical support to sales and customers, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement technical strategies to meet business objectives and drive growth.
  • Lead a cross-functional team of 7 or more in R&D, Quality, and Project Management.
  • Provide technical support to sales teams and accompany them to customer sites.
  • Resolve technical challenges for customers and ensure compliance with company accreditations and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with operations to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Manage budgets and cost-saving initiatives.
Candidate Profile
  • Proven experience working with polyurethane elastomers.
  • Proven experience leading teams, continuous improvement, and change management.
  • Degree-educated in chemicals, materials science, or a relevant field.
  • Proven experience setting and delivering technical strategies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Confident with customer-facing interactions.
