Entry Criteria for a Specialty Doctor:

  • shall have full registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council (GMC);
  • shall have completed at least four years full-time postgraduate training (or its equivalent gained on a less than full-time or flexible basis) at least two of which will be in a specialty training programme or specialty registrar locum appointment for training (LAT);
  • or shall have equivalent training, experience or competencies, either in the UK or overseas.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialty Doctor to join our team in Paediatrics. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, participating in teaching and training programs, and contributing to the development of our department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with a range of medical conditions;
  • Participate in teaching and training programs, including undergraduate and postgraduate education;
  • Contribute to the development of our department, including the development of policies and procedures;
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients;
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and developments in Paediatrics.

Requirements:

  • Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC);
  • At least four years full-time postgraduate training (or its equivalent gained on a less than full-time or flexible basis);
  • Experience in Paediatrics, preferably in a specialty training programme or specialty registrar locum appointment for training (LAT);
  • Equivalent training, experience, or competencies, either in the UK or overseas.
