Live-In Lifestyle Assistant for a Social Work University Student

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Live-In Lifestyle Assistant for a social work university student with cerebral palsy. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing personal care and independent living support to our client.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance to our client, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation and household chores
• Support our client with their independent living skills, such as managing finances and using public transportation
• Maintain a safe and healthy living environment for our client
• Communicate effectively with our client, their family, and our team to ensure seamless care and support

Requirements

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about making a positive impact in the life of our client. To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A strong understanding of personal care and independent living skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Compassion, empathy, and a non-judgmental attitude
• A valid first aid certificate and ability to lift 25kg
