About the Role

The University of Salford is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Admissions Officer to join our International and Regional Development Directorate. As an Admissions Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth processing of International Foundation Year (IFY) applications and providing excellent customer service to our students and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and evaluate IFY applications, ensuring compliance with University policy and procedure, as well as academic entry criteria.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with academic colleagues, University services, and external partners to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to students, parents, and agents, responding to queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work closely with the Salford Languages team to ensure seamless delivery of IFY programs and services.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to achieve student recruitment targets and improve application processing efficiency.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
