Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at DSM. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food processing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks on food processing equipment, including low-voltage to 415v 3-phase and control wiring.
  • Contribute to the upkeep of a Maintenance Plan of Work for the plant (CMMS).
  • Undertake planned and preventative maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Respond to and resolve equipment breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to identify and implement system and process improvements.
  • Administer the purchasing and stock control of engineering parts and spares.
  • Implement and maintain current Health and Safety procedures and contribute to the development of maintenance and engineering procedures.
