Maintenance Technician - Refrigeration - Intrusive Leak Detection

Tesco Property Maintenance is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for carrying out quality intrusive leak detection on refrigeration equipment across Tesco's estate.

Your primary focus will be on diagnosing causes of gas leakage and pre-empting future emissions. You will also be responsible for identifying trends and possible concerns with store refrigeration systems, providing detailed reports as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review refrigeration plant, cold rooms, and other cold chain equipment to ensure leak detection and operational standards are met.
  • Support and update the Refrigeration Asset Database.
  • Provide regular updates on reports/status to key stakeholders.
  • Deliver non-negotiable standards across Tesco estate, in compliance with F Gas regulations.
  • Utilize Verisae (CAFM system) for efficient site management.
  • Proactively manage site attendance, adhering to Health and Safety requirements and site safety working practices.
Requirements:
  • Minimum C&G Category 4 2079-14 qualification for leak checks.
  • Experience in a customer-focused environment.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
