Maintenance Technician - Refrigeration - Intrusive Leak Detector

Tesco Property Maintenance is seeking a skilled professional to join their team as a Maintenance Technician - Refrigeration Leak Detection Auditor.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting quality intrusive leak detection on refrigeration equipment, identifying causes of gas leakage, and pre-empting future emissions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing refrigeration plant, cold rooms, and other cold chain equipment to ensure leak detection and operational standards are met.
  • Supporting the update of the Refrigeration Asset Database and providing regular reports to key stakeholders.
  • Delivering non-negotiable standards across the Tesco estate, in compliance with F Gas regulations.
  • Utilizing Verisae (CAFM system) and Tableau (online system database) to manage site attendance and ensure Health and Safety requirements are met.

Requirements include:

  • A minimum C&G Category qualification to perform leak checks on refrigeration assets.
  • Experience in a customer-focused environment.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • A full UK driving license.
