Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain trade surveillance systems and parameters within various platforms to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of surveillance alerts to identify potential market abuse or misconduct, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess trade surveillance risks.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and industry best practices to ensure the company's trade surveillance systems are aligned with the latest requirements.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for surveillance procedures and processes to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Provide support for surveillance system upgrades and enhancements to ensure the systems remain effective and efficient.
  • Assist with the development of surveillance reports and metrics to provide insights into the company's trade surveillance activities.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in trade surveillance and regulatory compliance within the financial industry.
  • Expert-level proficiency in trade surveillance systems and platforms, including SMART, Actimize, and Validus by Eventus.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, products, and trading strategies to effectively identify and mitigate regulatory risks.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks, including MiFID II, EMIR, and Dodd-Frank, to ensure compliance with the latest requirements.
