Logistics People are seeking HGV Class 1 Transport Operators to join our team on a Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) basis.
Our client is a leading name in the logistics sector, providing state-of-the-art vehicles that ensure a premium driving experience.
Experience Requirement
Applicants must possess a minimum of 6 months of HGV Class 1 driving experience.
Shift Availability
- Up to 5 shifts available with various AM & PM start times.
Compensation Structure
- Monday - Friday Days: £14.62 per hour (including holiday pay)
- Monday - Friday Nights: £15.59 per hour (including holiday pay)
- Saturday Days: £17.55 per hour (including holiday pay)
- Saturday Nights: £18.70 per hour (including holiday pay)
- Sunday Days: £21.94 per hour (including holiday pay)
- Sunday Nights: £23.38 per hour (including holiday pay)
Job Responsibilities
- Transporting temperature-sensitive goods in refrigerated trailers.
- Regular trunking routes, including long-distance transportation between distribution centers.
- Delivering various goods to retail locations.
- General haulage duties, moving diverse types of cargo.
- Manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving goods during loading and unloading.
- Conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any issues to maintain vehicle safety.
- Maintaining accurate delivery records and logbooks in compliance with company policies and legal standards.
Applicants should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E License and meet the experience requirement.
