Days Monday to Friday

Our leading FMCG manufacturer is seeking a skilled mechanical engineer to support the Engineer Manager in overseeing reactive and planned maintenance to ensure high standards are met.

You will be diagnosing faults, identifying problems on machinery, and implementing solutions.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Performing PPM and reactive maintenance on fast-paced industrial machinery
  • Carrying out mechanical breakdowns and repairs
  • Fault-finding on both mechanical and electrical issues
  • Ensuring adherence to Health & Safety on site at all times
  • Working within a skilled team
  • ARC welding beneficial
  • Participating in continuous improvement projects, installations, etc.
  • 1 in 3 weeks on call
  • Reporting into the Engineering Manager

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Time-Served Mechanical Maintenance Engineering Experience
  • HNC/HND Qualified, NVQ level 4 or equivalent
  • FMCG Engineering Background Preferred
  • Proven experience and driven to work in a fast-paced environment
