About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Migration and Modernization Test Manager to join our team at WomenTech Network. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful upgrade and migration of critical business systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies and plans to address client requirements and reduce risk.
  • Work closely with project managers, architects, and application support teams to drive risk assessment and define test approaches.
  • Manage the creation of test designs, test plans, and test schedules to ensure timely and effective delivery.
  • Collaborate with technical and application subject matter experts to build migration test strategies and approaches.
  • Provide expert guidance and recommendations on test approaches to address client needs, challenges, and transformations.
  • Facilitate workshops and educate teams on applying test techniques and methodologies.
  • Apply risk-based testing techniques and evaluate risk and merit to make recommendations.
  • Support company initiatives for offerings, contracts, technologies, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Deliver professional services, including test strategy, design, planning, and preparation.

Requirements

  • At least 4-5 years of experience as a Test Manager, with involvement in Application Modernization, Migration, and Upgrade projects.
  • Good understanding of application architectures and business process flows.
  • Applied Test Strategies, Risk-Based Testing Techniques, and Test Life Cycles (ADLC).
  • Applied Test Types (ST, SIT, NFT, and UAT) and Test Models (Waterfall, V-Model, Agile).
  • Applied Project Management practices and ability to interpret requirements and create approaches.
  • Ability to facilitate workshops, evaluate risk and merit, and make recommendations.
  • Client-facing ability to understand and provide guidance and recommendations on test approaches.
  • Exposure to the DevOps process and ability to work as a Trusted Advisor to customers.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

  • General knowledge of compute platforms (Windows, Linux, VMWare) and storage technologies (SAN, NAS).
  • Understanding of network technologies (VLANs, Firewalls).
  • Experience of cloud technologies and educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • Hold a recognized test certification (ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing).
  • 10 years of testing experience with 5 years in Test Management.
