Investigo is partnering with a highly acquisitive Private Equity-backed IT business to recruit a Senior Commercial Finance Analyst on a permanent basis. The newly created role will report to the Group Finance Director and focus on all aspects of commercial finance, serving as the key liaison between group finance and the service delivery, operations, and sales teams.
- Develop strategic partnerships with senior stakeholders up to the Board level, providing them with business performance insights and future opportunities.
- Make informed commercial recommendations on customer contract terms and conditions, supplier agreements, and other areas to maximize margin potential.
- Identify and implement key process improvements and standardizations to drive efficiency and improve the bottom line as the group scales.
- Develop and maintain accurate forecasts and budgets to lay the foundation for future success.
- Produce comprehensive financial analyses in areas such as product and service line P&Ls, business unit P&Ls, customer and project P&Ls, and business cases for new service offerings.
- Provide proactive, data-driven insights to senior management to inform decision-making and optimize business growth.
- Support group finance with various ad-hoc financial tasks.
The role will be part of a newly created group finance function and will have a dotted line into the Chief Delivery Officer and Operations Function. The ideal candidate will be a professionally qualified individual with strong commercial acumen, able to identify, challenge, and recommend decision-making processes to senior leadership to ensure financial goals are met.
The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, be an exceptional communicator, and be comfortable liaising with all levels of the business, up to and including the C-Suite. Previous experience in a fast-paced, scaling business is advantageous.
Our client is offering a competitive salary of £60,000 - £70,000, plus a car allowance and benefits.
