About the Role

A leading food manufacturing business is seeking a highly skilled Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced production environment and be responsible for both proactive and reactive maintenance duties.

As a key member of the engineering team, you will share responsibility for achieving budgeted machine performance targets and ensuring the machines are kept running to peak performance.

You will be responsible for completing planned mechanical/electrical maintenance, fault finding, and breakdown repairs, installation, and modification to plant and services.

Maintaining and repairing plant and equipment to high Engineering, Quality, Safety, and Hygiene standards is also a key aspect of the role.

You will work closely with the Shift Engineering Manager and Maintenance Manager to ensure all engineering work is carried out efficiently and effectively.

The successful candidate will have a time served apprenticeship in an engineering discipline and hold relevant qualifications such as an Electrical engineering HND/HNC/BTech/ONC/C and G Level 3 qualifications or higher.

A degree/HND or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering is also desirable.
