Job Summary:
The successful candidate will assist the Ward Manager in the overall management of the ward, including staffing, budget management, and policy implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the nursing team in delivering high standards of care, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health conditions and develop individualized care plans.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and quality assurance processes.
- Manage patient admissions, discharges, and transfers in coordination with other healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Mental Health Nursing.
- Active NMC Pin.
- Experience in Acute Mental Health.
