Dakota Hotel in South Queensferry is on the lookout for a friendly and energetic individual to take on the role of Breakfast Service Associate. This part-time position primarily involves working on Saturday and Sunday mornings, making it an excellent fit for students or those with weekday obligations.
COMPENSATION AND EMPLOYMENT TERMS
The hourly wage can reach up to £13.54, with weekly payments, resulting in a minimum guaranteed gross annual salary of £8,488 (including expected tronc payments). This role comes with a permanent contract that guarantees a minimum of 12 hours of work per week, with typical shifts occurring mainly on weekends.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Welcome guests as they enter the dining area, offering beverages such as tea, coffee, and toast before taking their breakfast orders.
- Perform the duties of a section waiter/waitress, providing attentive table service, taking orders, and delivering trays of delectable food to guests.
- Ensure exceptional guest service by providing personalized dish and drink recommendations, creating a memorable dining experience.
- Collaborate closely with the Bar and Kitchen teams to maintain effective communication.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the breakfast menu to offer informed recommendations to guests, including awareness of allergens in dishes.
