Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine to join our team at the Nottingham Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre. This part-time position involves working 2 days a week and requires a strong background in neurological care and rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the multidisciplinary team in the care and treatment of patients with brain injuries and other neurological conditions.
  • Provide input for spasticity and bowel/bladder management.
  • Attend family meetings, case review meetings, and discharge planning meetings as required.
  • Practice evidence-based care through national standards and guidelines.
  • Supervise junior doctors and participate in external reviews and liaison with local commissioners.
Requirements:
  • MRCP (required)
  • CCT (or equivalent) in Rehabilitation Medicine (preferred)
  • Experience working in an inpatient rehabilitation setting treating those with neurological or brain injury (desirable)
