Job Title: Electrical Engineer Apprentice

Westlakes Recruit is seeking an experienced Project Engineer - Electrical with a background in Nuclear to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be located in Bridgewater, Bristol.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide and demonstrate a positive HSE leadership, building a strong and compliant HS&E culture throughout the construction life cycle of the Project.
  2. Manage a set area within the Balance of Plant (BOP) on the project.
  3. As part of a multi-disciplinary team, drive the project to support the safe delivery of the areas on time, to the right quality, and to the highest safety standards.
  4. Ensure Configuration Control is maintained across the scope Works Information.
  5. Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications.
Requirements:
  1. Relevant degree in construction, mechanical, or electrical engineering, or HND/HNC in electrical engineering (desirable).
  2. Minimum 5 years' experience working in a Major Project Engineering role.
  3. CCNSG or HSE MaPs Safety Passport.
  4. Knowledge of NEC ECC Contract is desirable.
Experience:
  1. Proven experience of safely delivering large scale construction or engineering projects.
  2. Experience in the heavy industry or nuclear sectors is beneficial, as is experience in working within a Joint Venture or Alliance environment.
