Project Engineer - Electrical

Westlakes Recruit is seeking an experienced Project Engineer - Electrical with a background in Nuclear to join our team on a permanent basis in Bridgewater, Bristol.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide leadership and guidance on Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) matters, fostering a strong and compliant HSE culture throughout the project lifecycle.
  2. Manage a designated area within the Balance of Plant (BOP) on the project, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  3. Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to drive the project forward, ensuring safe delivery, on-time completion, and adherence to the highest safety standards.
  4. Maintain Configuration Control across the scope of Works Information.
  5. Monitor compliance with applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications.
Requirements:
  1. Relevant degree in construction, mechanical, or electrical engineering, or HND/HNC in electrical engineering (desirable).
  2. Minimum 5 years' experience in a Major Project Engineering role.
  3. CCNSG or HSE MaPs Safety Passport.
  4. Knowledge of NEC ECC Contract is desirable.
Experience:
  1. Proven experience in safely delivering large-scale construction or engineering projects.
  2. Experience in the heavy industry or nuclear sectors is beneficial, as is experience in working within a Joint Venture or Alliance environment.
