Role Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated Logistics Training Specialist to join our team. This position will be based at our operational site and will encompass a variety of responsibilities aimed at enhancing driver performance and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive driving assessments for both new and existing personnel.
- Deliver Driver CPC Training to ensure adherence to industry standards.
- Support on-route learning and facilitate familiarization with delivery points.
- Monitor and analyze Tachograph infringement trends, providing necessary training and support.
- Coach drivers on safe driving practices, accident prevention, and fuel efficiency.
- Mentor candidates in training programs, including the Warehouse to Wheels initiative.
Qualifications:
- Possess a full and current Category C+E driving license with a minimum of three years of experience.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of Road Transport Working Time Directive (RTWTD) legislation.
- Be prepared to deliver Driver CPC training sessions.
- Exhibit proficiency in the English language and possess basic computer skills.
- Show flexibility in working hours to meet business needs.
- Willingness to engage in ongoing training to enhance personal skill sets.
Working Hours: The role typically follows a Sunday to Thursday PM shift pattern.
