We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Credit Coordinator & Collector. This essential position plays a vital role in supporting our credit and collections initiatives, ensuring that operational efficiency and effective credit management practices are upheld and enhanced.

Located in our Area Support Office, your main responsibilities will include:

Collaboration with Procurement and Credit Management: Partner with our EMEA procurement teams and credit managers to establish monthly objectives and support strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals to meet cash flow targets.

Account Oversight and Development: Manage a designated portfolio of accounts as part of credit control duties, providing training and development opportunities while gaining comprehensive insights into the collection cycle.

Engagement with External Partners: Act as a liaison with third-party clients and partners to assess outstanding invoices and resolve queries to facilitate timely payments.

Proactive Risk Oversight: Support hotels with specific tasks related to daily credit risk management.

Preparation of Meeting Materials: Compile all necessary data and documentation for credit meetings, including write-off records and debt recovery referrals, ensuring precision and thoroughness.

Process Enhancement and Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to identify new opportunities for streamlining processes and implementing best practices.

Commission Management Initiatives: Contribute to the long-term reduction of third-party commission costs by tracking trends and improving key payment processes.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate self-motivation.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Previous experience in credit management or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in hotel accounting is highly desirable.
