This role involves following up on debts through various communication channels, while also taking proactive measures to prevent future payment delays. Primary Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Specialist:

  • Assessing accounts to pinpoint areas of concern and pursuing overdue payments
  • Engaging with clients across multiple European nations, including France, Belgium, and Switzerland
  • Conducting intricate reconciliations of debtor accounts utilizing Excel, often collaborating with other departments
  • Generating weekly consolidated invoices and processing card payments
  • Issuing duplicate invoices as necessary
  • Verifying payment timelines
  • Addressing a high volume of customer inquiries regarding invoices received primarily via email
  • Providing regular updates on debtors and payments for financial discussions, aged debt reporting, and meetings as required
  • Fostering relationships with clients to identify payment delays and suggesting process enhancements

Essential Qualifications for the Accounts Receivable Specialist:

  • Proficient in verbal and written French
  • Skilled in building relationships
