About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to join our team at Flannels in Edinburgh Fort. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and driving sales growth to exceed targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maximise Sales: Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue, identifying opportunities to improve performance and drive growth.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and motivate the performance of the team, ensuring sales targets are met and exceeded, and providing coaching and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered at all times, maintaining a strong presence on the shop floor to drive sales and build customer relationships.
  • Store Presentation: Maintain the presentation and merchandising of seasonal stock in line with Head Office directives, ensuring the store is visually appealing and well-organised.
  • Market Awareness: Maintain an awareness of current and market trends, understanding forthcoming customer promotions and monitoring local competitors to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Administrative Tasks: Ensure all paperwork, policies, and procedures are carried out efficiently and accurately, maintaining accurate records and reports as required.
  • Performance Metrics: Drive and deliver Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), monitoring and analysing sales data to inform business decisions and drive growth.
Requirements
  • Clientele Background: You should have a strong clientele background, with a solid database of personal contacts and clients.
  • Premium Retail Experience: Previous retail experience within the premium sector is preferred, with a strong understanding of luxury fashion and customer expectations.
  • Leadership Skills: You will be an exceptional people manager, with strong leadership and motivational skills, able to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills, with the ability to interpret financial and sales data to inform business decisions.
  • Brand Awareness: A high level of brand awareness and product knowledge, with an awareness of the local area and market trends.
